She was predeceased by: her father Johnny Gene Johnson (William Hubbs); her aunt Gayle M. Stark (Kost); and her cousins, Billy and Randy Stark. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn S. Oplotnik; her daughters, Jennifer Spencer (James Spencer) and Melissa Campbell (Sorrick); her siblings, Patricia Barlow (Mark Barlow), Brian Oplotnik (Debra Oplotnik), Brad Oplotnik (Anita Oplotnik) and Bruce Oplotnik (Denise Oplotnik); her uncles, Charles R. Kost and Larry T. Kost; and her grandchildren, Kallie Spencer, Jaelyn Spencer, Emalena Spencer, Lucy Campbell and Jude Burgin (John Palmieri). She is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ulmer Funeral Home (1208 S Garrison Ave, Carthage, MO 64836). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, any contributions can be made to either the Joplin or Carthage Humane Societies.
