Jim Hammond Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2025, at the age of 73, Jim Hammond of Carthage, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Hammond to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jim shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jim farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther W. Parker and Bonnie Catherine Orr Parker; and his brother Bill Hammond. He is survived by: his children, Chad Hammond (Melissa) of Oronogo, Matt Hammond of Kansas City and Jaime Logan (Matt) of Carl Junction; his stepdaughters, Stephanie Allen of Pierce City and Britney Britton of Joplin; and his siblings, Bobby Hammond of Delray Beach and Frannie Willis of Carthage. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carthage VFW Post #2590 (16759 Inca Rd, Carthage, MO 64836).
