He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Albert Swatsenbarg and Loretta Aline Swatsenbarg (Cupp); and his siblings, Terry, Shirley Fisch and Rosella Schremmer.

He is survived by: his wife Linda LaVine; his sisters-in-law, Virgina Swatsenbarg, Cheri Gosselin and Denise Mezzanari (Gary); his daughter Gina Banks (Micheal); his grandson Josh; his great grandchildren, Finley and Lenna; his daughters, Morgan Heimgarher, Megan (Michael James) and Emalee Clement (Landon); his nephew Jody Swatsenbarg (Shanna); his children, Alli Swatsenbarg, Brittany Wills, Danielle Anderson and Aaron Anderson; his nephew Kory Gosselin (Erin); and his children, Parker, Jolene, Paisley, Levi and Wyatt.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to The Bridge or Hearts and Hammers in care of Knell Mortuary.
