As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joe Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lee Munyon of Lincoln, Roy Leonard Phillips Jr. of Lincoln and Gerald Phillips of Morrow. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Antioch Cemetery. In an interview with Lynn Kutter about Grace Place during COVID, she was asked if she was scared to be working with the public.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Bright Futures who help fund the "Back to School Bonanza" for Lincoln School children.
