He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Edwards and Florene Edwards (Pauley); his brother Gary Edwards; and his parents-in-law, Billy and Arlette Bigbee.

He is survived by : his wife Bettina Edwards; his children, Ken Edwards (Jackie) of McKinney, Shaune Snead (Michelle) of Friesttat, Drew Snead (Teresa) of Monette, Missouri and Lori Bradley (Walter) of Carthage, Missouri; his brother Danny Edwards of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Dennis, Dalton, Maegan (K. D.), Zane (Kaelyn), Alyssa, Ashton and Avery; and his great grandchild Milo.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairview Christian Church (2320 Grand Ave, Carthage, MO 64836). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
