He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Hedin. He is survived by: his wife Chieko Hedin; his children, Chizuru Hootselle (Mark) and Jeffrey Hedin; his grandchildren, Izabella Curry (Jon), Lauren Burgess, Charlotte Hootselle and Jaxson Kress-Hedin; his father Carl Clayton Hedin; his siblings, Daniel Hedin (Carolyn), Carl Dean Hedin (John Wiecks) and Christa Jean Denning (Jeffrey); his niece Megan Denning; and his nephew Clayton Hedin.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Ronald McDonald House or to Faith Lutheran Church in support of its local ministries.
