It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Katherine VanMater of Carthage, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Rhyne and Norma June Keyes. She is survived by : her husband Gary VanMater; her children, John VanMater (Amanda) of Snyder and Amy VanMater; her brother Russell Rhyne (Delinda) of Platte City, Kansas; and her grandsons, Abram Lee, Asher Scott and Aiden Dorsey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
