She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Whinery and Mabel Whinery (Rimmer); her husband Richard Stirling; her siblings, Teresa Whitledge and Michael Whinery; and her stepson Paul Stirling.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, JoAnna Lowe of Kansas City, KS and Billy Duggins of Kansas City, KS; her sister Ruby Tavis of Kansas City, KS; and her stepdaughter Cheri Stirling of South Dakota. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Van Buren Cemetery.
