He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Sally Darlene Smith (Wine) of Mt. Vernon; his children, Whitney Herbst (Michael) of Carthage and Wesley Smith (Sabra) of Gilbert, Arizona.; his grandchildren, Sadie, Kenley, Miles, Paisley, Max, Lincoln, Asher, Eden, August and Lyla; his sisters, Sharon Logan (Sam) of Mt. Vernon and Karen Keeler (Kenny) of Wichita; his father Richard Smith; and his brother Daniel Smith.
