The memory of Paul Dean Smith of Carthage, Missouri, who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 63, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Sally Darlene Smith (Wine) of Mt. Vernon; his children, Whitney Herbst (Michael) of Carthage and Wesley Smith (Sabra) of Gilbert, Arizona.; his grandchildren, Sadie, Kenley, Miles, Paisley, Max, Lincoln, Asher, Eden, August and Lyla; his sisters, Sharon Smith (Sam) of Mt. Vernon and Karen Keeler (Kenny) of Wichita; his father Richard Smith; and his brother Daniel Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Second Assembly of God (402 N Schifferdecker Ave, Joplin, MO 64801).
