With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sheila Ann (Lawson) Carnes (Carthage, Missouri), born in Lamar, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the sacred silence of farewell, Sheila Ann is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottie Lawson and Mildred Imogene Lawson (Dabbs); and her son Jeffrey Carnes. She is survived by: her grandsons, Connor Carnes of Carthage and Coltyn Carnes of Neosho; and her daughter-in-law Keri Sowder of Neosho.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (528 E 13th St, Carthage, MO 64836).
