She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Bemis and Marjorie Bemis; her spouse Russell Pickering; her stepchildren, Rodney Hooper and Valerie Bennett; her siblings, Robert Bemis, Jack Bemis, Ronnie Bemis, Lillian Walker, Mary Pippin and Leona Freed; and her granddaughters, Trisha Lovette and Kerri Hensley.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Pickering (Becky) of Carthage, Doug Pickering (Charlotte) of Sarcoxie and Randy Pickering (Leisha) of Keene, Texas; her stepson Kevin Hooper (Terri) of Carthage; her daughter Vicky Denholm of Carthage; her stepdaughter Pam Dodson of Carthage; and her brothers, Paul Bemis (Connie) of Galena and Raymond Bemis (Sharon) of Troy, Ohio. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 21 great-great grandchildren.
