He was predeceased by: his parents, Udo Block and Flora Block (Spor); his wife Norma Cantrell; his grandson Kyle Braeckel; and his siblings, Cecil Block, Irvin Block, Kenneth Block and Irene Hughey.
He is survived by: his children, Cherry Babcock (Joe), Debbie Braeckel (Pete), Harlan Block (Theresa) and Jenny Shaver (Joe); his grandchildren, Crystal, Josiah, Kelly, Casie, Isaac, Hannah and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Scotty, Logan, Van, Carter, Amelia, Perry Lou, Lane, Opal and June; and his siblings, Rex Block, Christina Craft, Wanda Dennison and Shirley Daubert.
