He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Swarens and Jeannine Swarens (Byrd). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ann Swarens; his daughters, Sara E. Hall (Wes) of Kaiser and Emily L. Jenkins of Eldon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Xander Haven of Eldon, Chloe Jenkins of Eldon, Liam Jenkins of Eldon, Warner and Augustine Hall of Kaiser, Missouri; his sisters, Sherry Quade (John) of Agate and Kay Greenlee (Kevin) of Jasper, Missouri; his uncle Bill Swarens of Carthage, Missouri; and his aunts, Nancy Heath of Las Cruces and Linda Michaels of Augusta, Georgia. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Carthage R-9 Education Foundation's Class of 1973 Scholarship Fund in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
