Treavor Ray Vanderpool Obituary

Treavor Ray Vanderpool, 23, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at his home in Carthage. Treavor was born April 19, 1996 in Sedalia, MO to Justin Shelledy and Angela Vanderpool. He was a resident of Carthage for the past 10 years and worked at Schreiber Foods. Treavor was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan; everything was about the red, white and gold.

To know Treavor is to love him. He had a heart of gold and a personality that could fill an entire room. He will be remembered for his laugh, huge hugs and beautiful smile. Treavor is survived by his parents; father Scott Stratton and step-mother Jennifer Shelledy; four brothers and three sisters, Jalynne Stratton, Austin Shelledy, Carlieigh Cordes, Levi Cordes, Corbyn Shelledy, all of Sedalia, Daisy Stratton and Houston Stratton, both of Aurora, CO; grandparents, Jack and Lisa Shelledy of Sedalia, Cindy Vanderpool of Carthage, LaTricia Shelledy and Rocky Hicks, both of Chandler, OK; great grandparents, Janet Shelledy of Sedalia and Barbara Sikes of Chandler, OK.

Treavor is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Treavor was preceded in death by one grandparent, Larry Vanderpool. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2019 at Ulmer Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Dudman Springs Cemetery east of Carthage.
