He is survived by: his wife Diane Mathis; his stepsons, Brian Day of Cape Girardeau, MO and Nicholas Day of Caruthersville; his grandchildren, Cody Day (Kaylan) of Gosnell, AR and Maddison Day of Caruthersville; his great grandchildren, Luna and Harper Day; and his siblings, Gerald Mathis (Linda) of Little Rock, AR, Wanda Hawkins of Jackson, MO and Ginny Braswell (Gary) of Blytheville, AR. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Caruthersville Children's Department, the Caruthersville Humane Society, or to the R-3 School Party.
