He is survived by: his children, Joe Garland (Melissa) of Cassville, Missouri and Diana Soole (James) of Exeter, Missouri; and his siblings, Sanford Garland (Arlene), Cliff Garland, Mary Ann Reger and Olive Houston. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
