With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Davis in Cassville, Missouri, who passed away on November 12, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father James W Davis "Jim"; and his brother Richard D. Davis. He is survived by: his mother Emilia "Midge" Davis (Rodriguez) of Cassville; his siblings, Ray E. Davis (Cyndee Davis) of Monett Mo and Shannon Dunn (Ralph Dunn) of St Joseph; his sons, Talbert Cook of Wheaton and Ty Davis (Emilee Davis) of Aurora; and his grandson Steven. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (821 Old Exeter Rd, Cassville, MO 65625).
