He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Gunnels and Norma Gunnels (Edie); his sister Linda Cline; and his brother-in-law Steven Rose. He is survived by: his wife Sue Gunnels; his daughters, Jo Lynn Robinson (Josh) of Springfield and Rebecca Trammell (Dakota) of Nixa, Missouri; his grandchildren, Bentley, Zoe, Jordyn, Isabella, Julianne and Jaxon; his mother-in-law Shirley Rose; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Cline, Bill Rose (Sue), Bobbi Vanzandt (Raymond) and Patty Rose. He is also survived by many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Oak Hill Cemetery and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
