We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Josephine L. Jahnsen of Cedar Hill, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Salamone and Barbara Salamone; her husband Leo Jahnsen; her son Jim Jahnsen; and her grandson Michael Jahnsen.

She is survived by: her children, Gina Bohn (Lou), Steve Jahnsen (Denette), Mike Jahnsen (Nancy), Ann Marie Short (Ronnie), John Jahnsen (Johnna), Carol Woolsey (John), Paul Jahnsen, Joe Jahnsen (Wanda) and Jennifer Jones (Mike); her brother David Salamone (Helen); and her daughter-in-law Susan Jahnsen. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (4696 Notre Dame Ln, House Springs, MO 63051). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery (8701 Byrnesville Rd, Cedar Hill, MO 63016).
