He is survived by: his children, Christine Bauer (John), Sandy Sellers and Victoria Sellers (Allen); his grandchildren, Samantha Mazde, Brittany Steffens, Tabitha Dixon, Gabby Steffens, Matthew Bauer, Mercedes Underwood, Noah Bauer, Zachary Sellers and Adam Bauer; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Emma, John Jr., Lily, Ellie, Avery, Carter, Serenity and Bennett.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
