He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Garrett and Connie Garrett; his brother Kevin Eoff; his parents-in-law, Mary J. Betle and Louis C. Betle; and his brother-in-law Larry Scheiter.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Garrett; his children, Michael Garrett (Megan) and Ryan Garrett (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Zeddicus, Charissa and Novalie; and his sister Sharon Mellem (Bob). He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
