With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jon S. Grote of Centerview, Missouri, born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jon S. Grote to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene "Gene" Grote and Lisbeth Grote (Bowers) of Oak Grove, MO.; his brothers, Donald Grote Wayne Grote, Logan Grote and Alan Grote; and his grandson Evan Cowan.

He is survived by : his wife Ruth Ann Grote of Centerview, MO; and his children, Joshua Grote of Mound City, KS, Tiffany Parks (Jamie) of Grain Valley, MO, Stacey Gates (Mark) of Kansas City, KS, Shayla Gedrose of Raymore, MO and Dana Sanders of Beavercreek, OH.. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

His daughter Tiffany graciously donated life-saving bone marrow for him.
