We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 41, Ransom R. Ray of Centerview, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Ransom's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Ransom's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parent Russell Ryan Ray; and his grandparents, Lloyd Myears, Dale and Mary Beth Ray (Anderson). He is survived by: his mother Brenda Dawn Ray (Myears); his son Lincoln Ray; his sister Tara David (Justin) of Smithton; and his sibling's children, Austin David and Ella David. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Brenda Ray for the establishment of an educational fund for his son, Lincoln Ray, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
