He is survived by: his children, Crystal Smoot of Centralia and Todd Smoot (Cynthia Smoot); his grandchildren, Trevor Smoot of Harrisburg, Taylor Smoot of Harrisburg and Jacob Meador of Mexico; and his brother Leo Smoot Jr. of Bartlett, Illinois..
