He was predeceased by: his parents, James, Sr. Simmons and Minnie Victoria Simmons (Wiliams). He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Warren (Cassandra) of Kansas City, MO and Vicki Simmons of Centralia; his nieces, Olisa Warren of Kansas City, MO and Carmella Warren Johnson of California; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brandon Alexander of California, John Johnson of California, Jaylon Johnson of Chicago, Kurtis Warren, Tehya Frederick, Zaveah Johnson and Xoel Johnson.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Centralia City Cemetery (114 S Rollins St, Centralia, MO 65240).
