It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adella Catherine Frank (Chaffee, Missouri), born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kirchdoerfer and Mary Kirchdoerfer (Heuring); her husband Alvin M. Frank; her son Joe David Frank; her son-in-law Roy Beel; and her siblings, Stella Ostendorf, Marie James, Anton and Joe Kirchdoerfer.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Frank (Debbie) of Cape Girardeau, Alvin Frank, Jr. (Kim) of Chaffee, Mary Ann Hennecke of Cape Girardeau and Barbara Beel of Bonnots Mill; her grandchildren, William Hennecke, Jr. (Sally Bagg), Danielle Poyner (Gary), Jason Frank (Natalie), Jaymie Castens (Chris), Tim Frank, Shelley Fischer (Zach), Melanie Peters (Greg), Olivia Hancock (Keith), Emma Tuthill (Shawn) and Robyn Potts (Shaun); her sister-in-law Mildred Kirchdoerfer; her extended family, Bobby, Angela and Aaron Sims; Kay Frank of Collinsville, Illinois. She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Family has requested in lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to the following: Retired Priests of Springfield-Cape Girardeau Diocese, Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, School Sisters of Notre Dame, or Saint Ambrose School in Chaffee.
