It is with sadness that the passing of Mary Horman of Chaffee, Missouri is shared. Mary, born on June 9, 1947 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Mary will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Mary by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Mary is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Mary’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Crites and Norman Crites (Sanford); her husband Lawrence Adolph Horman; her granddaughter Gracie Palmer; and her siblings, William Glen Crites and Diana Sue Copeland.
She is survived by: her son Larry Horman of Chaffee; and her granddaughters, Jessie Horman and Hannah Horman. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; also, by a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel - Chaffee (203 W Yoakum Ave, Chaffee, MO 63740). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Lightner Cemetery.
