It is with sadness that the passing of Myra June Asmus (Chaffee, Missouri) is shared. Myra, born on December 23, 1935, passed away on September 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Myra will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Myra by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Myra is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Myra’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hall Darby and Emily Susan Darby (Lindley); her husband Eugene Miskell; and her siblings, John, Jack Darby and Nova "Jane" Mowery.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Stidham (Tom) of Chaffee, Emily Eichhorn (Mike) of Chaffee, Kathy Schetter (Mitch) of Sikeston, Tammy Erlbacher (Tommy) of Delta and Della Eggimann (Ray) of Florissant, Missouri; and her sister Jean Ann Goodman of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great, grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calvery Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
