He was predeceased by : his father C. Wilson McDowell; and his siblings, Martha Lou Boone, Carolyn Sue Burcks and Kenneth T. McDowell. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy P. Morgan; his children, David McDowell (Carol Slack), Debra Conn (James) and Donald McDowell (Margaret Nelson); and his grandchildren, Julie Summers (Ryan), Emily Stahlschmidt (Michael), Leslie Hingle (Scott) and Caitlin Bolden (Zach). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; also, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
