Dorothy Morgan McDowell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Morgan McDowell of Charleston, Missouri, born in Datto, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Everett Morgan and Pearl Elizabeth Fears Morgan; her spouse Byron Wilson McDowell; and her siblings, Charles Morgan, Murlyn Morgan, Warren Morgan, Floyd Morgan, Robert Morgan, Lela Guthrey, Nellie Gage, Mary Bonifield and Vena Daughhetee.
She is survived by: her children, David McDowell (Carol), Debra Conn (James) and Donald McDowell (Margaret); her grandchildren, Julie Summers (Ryan), Emily Stahlschmidt (Mike), Leslie Hingle (Scott) and Caitlin Bolden (Zach); and her caregivers, Cheryl Morgan, Stephanie Parker, Lisa Hall and Lisa Buttry. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; also, a number of nieces and nephews.
