He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Dover and Ora Allen Dover; and his siblings, Alfred Dover, Howard Dover, Elroy Dover, Lorene Fitzgerald, Jesse Rhymer, Jim Rhymer and Dorothy Rhymer Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Dover; his children, Cindy Graham (Verlan) of Anniston, Sheila Francis of Charleston and Rodney Dover (Krystal) of Sikeston, Missouri; his sister Beverly McHarry of Thebes, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Jonathan, Jennifer and Stephany. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; a few remaining cousins; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
