With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Johnny Ray Hillhouse of Charleston, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Baker Hillhouse and Nelsene Brewer Hillhouse; his brother Benjamin Michael "Benny" Hillhouse; and his grandparents, Nelson Brewer, Nellie Ann Barrett Brewer, Benjamin Hillhouse and Bernice Baker Hillhouse.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Clare Bryant Gunn; his stepsons, Greg and Tory; his daughter Kara; his grandchildren, Nancy, Greg Gunn (Shannon), Tory Gunn (Myra), Kara Hillhouse Luna, Trenton Davis, Aniya Luna, Lauren Gunn, Jack Gunn, Bryant Gunn and Barrett Gunn; and his siblings, June Hillhouse, James Hillhouse (Pam), Jana Lee and Lisa Hillhouse (Greg Hall).
