He was predeceased by: his parents, John Samuel Bell and Maggie Earline Britt Bell. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Bell (Kathy) of East Prairie and Todd Bell (Diane) of Waco, TX; his sister Nancy Sue Poe of East Prairie; and his grandchildren, Scott "Buddy" Bell II, Aaron Lee Bell, T. J. Bell, Elizabeth Lina and Brittany McConnell. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
