He was predeceased by: his adoptive parents, Frank "Junior" Bowles and Mae Passley Bowles. He is survived by: his wife Tami Manker Passley; his children, Brandon Passley (Danielle) and Chelsea Patterson; his brothers, Larry Bowles (Renissa) and Steve Bowles (Diane); and his half-siblings, Edward Passley and Lisa Rochelle Bonogafsky (Stephen). He is also survived by his three grandchildren.
Sam's final act was to selflessly give the gift of life through organ donation.
