He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Eifler; his parents, Charles Eifler and Julia Eifler; and his brother John Eifler (Mary Anne). He is survived by: his wife Dianne T. Eifler; his children, Judy Mosley (Jim), Dave Eifler (Ilene Wolff), Lynn Martens (John) and Stephen Eifler (Adrienne); his grandchildren, Grace Mosley, Hannah Dinges (Tommy), Charlie Mosley (Lauren), Isabel Mosley, Elise, Zev Eifler, David Martens (Christina), Meghann Martens, Katie Anibas (Justen), Julia Martens, Amelia, Brendan, Ryan and Chase Eifler; and his siblings, Tom Eifler (Diana) and Mary Julia Kuhn (Chip).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home (12444 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Incarnate Word Catholic Church (13416 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield, MO 63017). A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Bellerive Gardens Cemetery (740 N Mason Rd, St. Louis, MO 63141).
