She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Abramovitz; and her parents, Gertrude Kanter and David Kanter. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Sue Sherwood (David), Lauren Kay Sandler (Bernard Steffel) and Gail Lynn Abramovitz; and her grandchildren, Melissa Sandler and Jason Sandler (Angela Barrientos).
