He was predeceased by: his wife Michelle Harriett Angermann; his parents, Hans Angermann and Margarete Angermann; his sisters, Else Buch and Irmgard Muller; his nephew Jefferey Mueller; and his niece Renate Beyerlein.

He is survived by: his sister Marga Dorr (late Werner); his nieces and nephews, John Mueller (Tamara), Uwe Dorr, Erich Dorr, Karin Johrden, Christa Rohde, Katrin Gunst and Petra Zager; his great-nephew Logan Mueller; his great-nieces, Holly Mueller and Hatti Jochimsen (Patrick); his brother-in-law John A. Mueller, Sr. (Patricia); Rowan Dyke.
