He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Pfeifer and Albina Pfeifer (Dreiling); his brother Wilbert; his former wives, LeeAnn and Shirley; his brother-in-law Frank Haas; and his sister Helen Catherine.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila (Beilman); his son Steven (Deborah) of Houston; his grandchildren, Thomas, Joe and Katherine; his son Gregory (Cynthia) of Sarasota; his grandchildren, Lauren, James, Joseph and Katie McClain (Troy); his great grandchild Luke; his granddaughters, Rosie McClain (Bradley) and Genevieve McClain; and his siblings, Joseph Pfeifer (Mary Ellen) of St. Louis, MO, Rose Ann James of Albuquerque and Susan Haas of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
