Though Kent may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kent touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Janine; his father Ronald Johnson; his brothers, Scott (Karin) and Blaine (Tara); and his nephews, Jack and Sam.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Kent's name to the ALS Association, Team Gleason and The Humane Society of Missouri.
