He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wallerstein and Shirley Wallerstein (Rosen); and his sister Miriam Bluestein. He is survived by: his sons, Neil (Micki), Eric (Amy) and Michael (Jeffrey Ricker); and his grandchildren, Samantha, Devon, Benjamin, Seth, Ethan and Talia.
In lieu of flowers, Sheldon asked that donations in his honor be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, and Congregation B'nai Amoona.
