She was predeceased by: her husband Ray T. Hankins; her parents, Leo Buescher and Katherine Buescher; her siblings, Raymond, Edwin, Omar Buescher, Aurie Hummert, Lydia Bellm and Betty Moats; and her siblings-in-law, Celeste Buescher, Elmer Hummert, Roland Bellm, William Moats and Donald Wangerin.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Dawson; her grandchildren, Catherine Becker (Chris) and David Dawson (Genevieve); her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Wyatt Becker and Caroline Dawson (Cece); her sister Dolores Wangerin (Dee); and her sisters-in-law, Katharine (Kay), Marie Buescher and Sue Hale. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ascension Catholic Church (230 Santa Maria Dr, Chesterfield, MO 63005). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (16200 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011).
