It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Kay Hill of Chilhowee, Missouri, who passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Shields and Lorene "Katie" Virginia Bright Shields; her son Jason Allen Hill; her father-in-law Allen Hill; and her siblings, Virginia Lee Austin, Debbie Parsons, Richard "Dick" Shields, Tommy Dean Shields and Donald "Gene" Shields.
She is survived by: her husband Darrel Allen Hill; her daughters, Amanda Lankford (Andy) of Clinton and Misty Miller (Tim) of Chilhowee, Missouri; her grandchildren, Nathan Lankford, Alexis "Lexi" Miller, Jared Lankford and Kaylee Miller; and her siblings, Alfa "Ed" Shields (Sandy) of Chilhowee, Leonard Shields (Margaret) of Chilhowee, Missouri, Jayne Bywater of Sierra Vista, Arizona and Donne Sherron (Tom) of Selma. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Honorary Pallbearers: Harold Parsons, Charlotte Keller, Barb Campbell, Memorial contributions are suggested to the Cynthia Hill Memorial Fund to be used for the grandchildren's higher education.
