He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn Thompson and Mary Thompson (Wampler); his stepson Joseph Nosek; his siblings, Donald, Leroy, Ralph, Robert, Raymond, Delford Thompson and Delores Brewer; and his nephew Gregory Thompson.
He is survived by : his stepchildren, Mary Pat Whiteside (Steven) of Chillicothe, Randall Nosek (Melissa) of Linden and Jacqueline Tyson (Steven) of Harrisonville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Spencer Whiteside (Chelsea), Alec Whiteside, Allie Spitler (Jake), Madisen Garcia (Drew), Gabe Nosek, Ryan Nosek and Coleman Tyson; his great grandchildren, Mila Garcia and Presley Garcia; and his siblings, Alvin Thompson (Charlene) of Chillicothe, Missouri and Mary Katherine Bonderer of Chillicothe, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
