He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Thompson and Martha Thompson (Wynne); and his brother Floyd Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Stretch; his children, Rick Thompson (Pam) of Chillicothe, Russ Thompson (Sheila) of Laredo, Missouri and Lisa Loney (Nolan) of Chillicothe, Missouri; his grandchildren, Dustin Thompson (Gabby) of Chillicothe, Cody Thompson (Kayla) of Chillicothe, Lauren Jones of Chillicothe, Carlee Quinn (Zach) of Chillicothe, Rylee Johnson (Tracer) and Emma Thompson of Laredo, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Ellynor, Genevieve, Weston Thompson, Talan, Tinley Thompson, Gatlin and Gracelyn Quinn; and his siblings, Forrest Thompson (Donna) of Stotts City, Missouri, Virginia Mason of Kansas City, Nina Smith (Gary) of Raymore and Charlene Armitage (Vernon) of Liberty, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
