She was predeceased by: her parents, Merl George and Alta Mae Merryfield (Cosby); her son Jeffry Alan Gardner; her brothers, Roy Merryfield and Fred Merryfield; her brother-in-law Nolan Long; and her sisters, Lura Peck (Dick), Juanita Ireland (Otis) and Donna Norris (Don).
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Evans (Richard) of Utica and Susie Lindley (Bruce) of Chillicothe, Missouri; her daughter-in-law Debbie Gardner of Chillicothe, Missouri; her grandchildren, Penny Braymer (Chad) of Parkville, Timothy Evans of Utica, Daniel Evans (Lindsey) of Holt, Mathew Lindley (Jennifer) of Chillicothe, Jonathan Lindley (Ashley) of Milwaukee, Thomas Lavi (Sormeh) of Fremont, Ryan Gardner (DeAnn) of Chillicothe, Aaron Gardner (Skylar) of Chillicothe, Brett Gardner (Alexis) of Lenexa and Taylor Gardner of Lenexa, Kansas; her sister Wanda Long of Chillicothe, Missouri; and her sister-in-law Helen Merryfield of Grandview, Missouri. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
