With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gayla Arlene Kitchin of Chillicothe, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Junior Owen and Martha Owen (Overton); her siblings, Bobby Overton, Randall Owen, Kenneth Owen, Madelyn Hendricks and Carolyn Watkins; and her grandsons, Tyson and Tyrone Stark.
She is survived by: her husband C. W. Kitchin; her children, Johnny Stark of Chillicothe, Randy Stark of Trenton, Rudy Kitchin of Trenton, Chris Kitchin (Marie) of Chillicothe, Clint Kitchin (Melissa) of Chillicothe, Missouri and Tammy Stark of Chillicothe, Missouri; her grandchildren, Brittany Stark, Devanti Anderson, Dominique Midgyett, Sloan Stark, Jevon Glasgow, Donovan Kitchin, Lillian Kitchin, Christopher Kitchin, Cheyenne Kitchin and Hazel Kitchin; her great grandchildren, Weston and Eden; and her siblings, Eddie Owen (Jo) of Chillicothe, Missouri and Jolene Obanion of Chillicothe, Missouri. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
