George Edward Laurence Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to George Edward Laurence of Chillicothe, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Laurence and Edith Viola Burress Laurence; his siblings, Dale, Doris Thurman (John) and Viola Dunn (Harry); and his brothers-in-law, Jack Shafer, Wayne Peterson, Garry Peterson and Jack Gurley.

He is survived by: his pet Randy; his daughters, Lisa York (Aaron) of Chillicothe, MO and Lona Ratliff (Jason) of Western Kansas; his grandchildren, Deryck Koenig (Taylor), Nick Koenig (Courtney), Koltyn Ratliff (Reagan) and Jena Rai Ratliff; and his sisters-in-law, Nadine Laurence, Debbie Peterson, Carol Ann Peterson and Ella Jo Peterson. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
