It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold Nelson Dewey of Chillicothe, Missouri, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Dewey and Mabel Dewey (Meneely); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Skinner. He is survived by: his son Lonnie Dewey (Karen) of Taos, Missouri; his grandchildren, Craig Dewey (Katie) of Parkville, Missouri and Cara Skillman (Devin) of Liberty, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Avery Dewey, Adalynn Skillman, Brynn Skillman and Logan Dewey; and his siblings, Enola Shore, Gary Dewey and Caryol Dewey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (3141 Washington St, Chillicothe, MO 64601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meadville Cemetery.
