With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Wendell Turner of Chillicothe, Missouri, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, G. Wendell Turner and Avonne Olson Turner; and his grandparents, George, Mable Turner, Lawrence and Mabel Olson.

He is survived by : his daughters, Lori Turner of Blue Springs, MO, Nancy (John Hoye) of Raymore, MO and Kathy (Stacey Weaver) of Liberty, MO; his sister C. Joan Meyer of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Molly Hoye, Meg Weaver, Clifford Hoye, Drew Weaver and Maxwell Hoye; and his nephews, William, Marc, Edward and James Meyer.
