He was predeceased by: his parents, Makoto Uwagawa and Sakiko Uwagawa (Nakano). He is survived by: his daughter Malisa Uwagawa of Chillicothe, Missouri; his sister Miki Watanabe (Mitsugu) of Yokohama, Japan; his grandchildren, Isis Chambers (Tyler) of Ashland and Aaron Baker (Devonn Ritchie) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Julian Chambers, Lynnlee Baker, Macyn Baker and Emerson Baker.
